About
"At Forest Bird Finery™, we crave real human connections, not just the social how-do-you-do. We suggest you make connections with an open mind and an open heart. We create conversation starters through humor, inspirational visuals, and quotes. Let us help to adorn your conversation.
Currently the original artworks are created by me, and my hope is to showcase other talented artists as our business grows. Thank you for considering us as part of your crew.

With light we see ourselves. With light we see each other. The queen of the seen and the unseen is how one friend refers to me. Once they really know me, they call me a dragon and creator of many things. All statements are true. I joke about how art is my life long love affair; I will fight, kick, and bite to keep being in love. No doubt love is the quintessence of the ultimate high. When your imagination starts to fly, allow your thoughts to manifest in delicious form and color; I never hesitate to do so. Making art is not about pleasing others; instead it is an ultimate confession of my innermost balanced chaos.
In the past couple years, I've been creating art that does one good. Good in the sense of making someone laugh, reflect or feel offended. Yes! Art that beckons the viewer to elicit a response by starting a conversation. When we listen and talk to each other, we are no longer a faceless, nameless, story-less bag of protein. I delight in creating art that connects you with someone in what might just be a start of a meaningful event in your life. Imagine that!
We search far and wide for our inspirations: from an old redwood grove 300 feet tall to an intricate spiderweb that sits right outside the door. Inspiration is kind of like our cat, he comes and goes at his own will. Tested true time-after-time, if we keep our eyes and hearts open while looking inward and outward, inspirations will come.
To be honest, we (mostly I) had a lot of hesitation transitioning my art to clothing, tote bags, notebooks, water bottles or whatever else I could conceive. I was worried about the garment material, print quality, color accuracy, and every other what-if anxiety the mind was able to conjure (it's exhausting).
To help with my anxiety, time was carved out to research for the right printing company. The selected print-on-demand company we work with has passed all our quality checks.
There you are. Here I am. Together, we ignite your next conversation to create a meaningful connection.
